Privacy policy

Who we are

Tryino (“we”), İstanbul, Türkiye, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

Ino Loyalty is different. When a company runs its loyalty program on Ino Loyalty, that company is the data controller for its members' data and Tryino processes it on the company's behalf. Members should contact the company that runs the program. The app-specific notices explain this in detail: Ino Loyalty for Shopify and Ino Loyalty for ikas.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the site needs, plus Google Analytics if you allow it. Details are in the cookie policy; you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, under contracts that limit their use of it:

  • Cloudflare: hosting and protection of tryino.com.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365): e-mail and our own records of enquiries.
  • Google (Google Analytics): only if you allow analytics.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to courts or public authorities.

Transfers outside Türkiye

Some of these providers process data outside Türkiye (for example in the European Union or the United States). We carry out such transfers under Article 9 of KVKK: with appropriate safeguards such as standard contracts, or with your explicit consent where that is the applicable basis (analytics).

How long we keep it

  • Demo and contact requests: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless a contract follows.
  • Customer and contract records: for the duration of the contract and then as long as commercial and tax law requires (generally 10 years).
  • Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics.
  • Server and security logs: a short period set by our hosting provider.

When the period ends we delete, destroy or anonymise the data in line with our retention and destruction policy.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the right to:

  • learn whether we process your personal data and, if so, request information about it;
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
  • know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it is transferred;
  • ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected, and for these corrections to be notified to the recipients;
  • ask for deletion or destruction of your data when the reasons for processing no longer apply, and for this to be notified to the recipients;
  • object to a result against you that arises only from automated analysis;
  • claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

If the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, you also have the rights to restrict processing, to data portability and to complain to your local supervisory authority.

How to make a request

Send your request to [email protected] from the e-mail address you used with us, or in writing to Tryino, İstanbul, Türkiye. Tell us who you are and what you are asking for. We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest, as set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).

Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for people who need it, multi-factor authentication on our accounts and regular reviews of who has access.

Children

tryino.com is a business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
